I did notice your other gallery and it looks very good! (Even though it's very different as you already pointed out.) Your nature photographs are the ones that I like best however. Especially because of the way you portray the beauty of Dutch landscapes that are often considered to be boring or dull. Sometimes I find myself wishing to be born in a place with some more 'spectacular' features like mountains or rainforests, but you make me realise the Netherlands can be just as beautiful! Thank you for that

Thank you very much for so much understanding and praise. I am very glad that I opened my eyes to the beauty which is near me and can share it now with so many people (a great many of my pictures are taken at places which I can reach with my bicycle, ie. about 10 to 20 km away).

Of course mountains or rainforests are spectacular, but "misty little Holland" has a lot to offer, too.

Perhaps I see it more than other people as I came here as a stranger from Germany in 1975, actually having married one of the lovely meisjes in 1970 who is still my dear wife.
